All on Four dental implants can give you a full set of teeth with only four implants that support a full arch of non-removable replacement teeth. This procedure a great way to get a full set of teeth without having to undergo multiple surgeries.*
Since it’s minimally invasive and uses oral sedation, the recovery period is simple. The sedation should wear off in about 4 to 5 hours after the procedure so you will need to ask a loved one to drive you home. You’ll also be required to follow a liquid and soft food diet for a few days.*
If you have dentures and no teeth, recovery will be very minimal. In the event you do notice any immediate pain and swelling, pain medications can help. You’ll be able to resume work within two to three days.*
However, if you have teeth and bone grafting is required, your healing period will be about three weeks. You’ll return home with a temporary denture and wait about six months for the implants to integrate with your bone.
