Dental Bondings

The simple, affordable way to improve your smile

Are you bothered by a chipped or cracked tooth? Or a gap in your teeth? If so, you can easily hide these imperfections with dental bonding. Dental bonding is a common tooth restoration solution that involves applying a natural-looking, tooth-colored resin to the teeth. Dr. Amin Samadian is a strong advocate of tooth dental bonding because it can allow you to improve your smile while preserving most of your natural tooth structure.

What are bondings?

Dental bonding is a tooth restoration treatment that uses tooth-colored resin to conceal small imperfections such as chips, gaps, and discoloration. Unlike dental crowns or veneers, it removes little if any tooth enamel. It’s also faster and more affordable than other cosmetic treatments.

Reasons for dental bondings

Dr. Amin Samadian may recommend dental bonding to repair cracks, unevenness, and chips. He may also suggest it to reshape crooked teeth, whiten stained teeth, close spaces between front teeth, or protect exposed roots of teeth. If you have more significant imperfections, he can discuss alternative treatments. He and his team of specialists will use advanced diagnosis techniques to establish the best plan of treatment for you.

What do dental bondings involve?

During a dental bonding treatment, Dr. Amin Samadian will thoroughly clean the tooth. Then, he’ll rub it with a mild solution that will help bond the composite resin to the tooth. Next, he’ll apply the composite resin in several layers and harden each layer with a special dental curing light. Once there are enough resin layers on the teeth, he’ll sculpt the bond to the ideal shape and texture. This treatment typically takes about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth to complete.

What results will I see?

After dental bonding treatment, you can enjoy a more attractive smile. While your bonding may need to be touched up or replaced every few years, you’ll find it to be a cost-effective, simple way to improve the aesthetics of your teeth.
