How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?

The loss of a tooth can bring a host of concerns, from how it affects your smile to worrying over whether or not it’ll affect your dental health. Often, the desire to replace the tooth is contradicted by our worry over what the treatment cost will be. Dr. Amin Samadian has made it his mission to provide advanced dental care to all demographics through the development of a healthcare system designed to make dental care accessible.

How Do Dental Implants Work?

Dental implants work by replacing your missing tooth with one that looks, feels, and functions like your original tooth. They preserve the bone beneath the missing tooth from infection, keep your bite aligned, and prevent adjacent teeth from shifting out of position. Dr. Samadian surgically places a titanium implant to the upper or lower jawbone and attaches a post (oftentimes during the same procedure) around which the gum tissue grows and heals. Once healing is complete, after 2-6 months, a realistic customized crown is affixed to the post. Your smile is restored and you’ll be able to chew and speak normally again. The best part is the care of the dental implant is the same as with your natural teeth.

Dental implants have become the standard for replacing missing teeth because they preserve bone and bite alignment, treat joint pain, restore facial tissue shape, improve chewing and speech, and can securely anchor other dental appliances like bridges and dentures.

Am I a Good Candidate?

Candidacy for dental implants depends a lot on the condition of your nerves, sinuses, bone density, and bone width and height, so a consultation with Dr. Samadian is necessary to formulate a treatment plan for your unique situation. You may require sinus elevation or bone augmentations before dental implants can be considered. Schedule a consultation to learn more.

What’s the Procedure Like?

During your evaluation, Dr. Samadian evaluates your dental condition with a Cone Beam CT scan, which gives him a 3D view of your jawbone, teeth, nerves, and sinuses. Then he creates a treatment plan which he executes with precision and cutting-edge technology. The XGuide navigational implant placement uses a special camera that gives a real-time view for Dr. Samadian to meticulously place your implant to the exact depth, angle, and position required. This precision means you may not need incisions or stitches, which drastically improves your recovery time and minimizes post-operative discomfort. If your situation allows, the post to which the crown will be affixed is also positioned at this time.

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?

For many patients, the cost is a critical factor in the decision to proceed with dental implants, especially because they can be quite pricey. There are different brands and quality of implants that can be used so it’s very important that patients make their decisions based on quality and not by just looking at prices. Single implant placement can cost anywhere between $2,000-$3,000 and after that a crown is necessary to place over the implants which are done separately in 2-6 months.

Dr. Samadian does not believe cost should prohibit whole mouth health and dental care for any patient. It’s why he’s committed to making advanced dentistry accessible to all socio-economic levels. Financing is available to help you pay out-of-pocket expenses, particularly if your insurance covers little or no part of the dental implant.

The cost of a dental implant doesn’t have to impact your ability to restore your smile and keep your teeth healthy for a lifetime. Dr. Samadian’s attention to all aspects of dental health, including financial, mean you get the best dental experience possible with minimal worry.
